Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines

1. Purpose

Reineur app (hereinafter referred to as "Reineur", "we", "our", or "us") is a space for students, researchers, academics, scientists, policy experts, analysts, industry professionals, knowledge workers, government personnel, and subject-matter experts to share knowledge and discuss ideas. Post in good faith, credit others, and engage respectfully. This policy applies to everyone who uses Reineur and to all content and activity on the platform.

2. Be accurate and Honest

2.1. Do not knowingly post false, fabricated, or manipulated data, results, or credentials

2.2. Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your expertise, affiliation, or authority

2.3. Label opinions, preliminary findings, and speculation as such

2.4. Cite Sources and give credit to others. Reineur does not allow Plagiarism

3. Respect Intellectual Property

3.1. Post only content you own or have permission to share

3.2. Paywalled or copyrighted material (such as papers, datasets, or reports, etcetera) can only be uploaded if you have the rights to do so

3.3. If you believe your work has been posted without permission, contact us at support@reineur.com

4. Handle Sensitive Information Responsibly

4.1. Do not post classified, confidential, or proprietary information, trade secrets, or material covered by non-disclosure agreement

4.2. Do not share personal data, human-subject data, or patient information without proper consent and anonymisation

4.3. Reineur is not a secure channel. Government and industry users are responsible for following their employer's disclosure and publication rules.

5. Respectful Conduct

Reineur stands for critique of ideas and not persons. The following are prohibited:

5.1. Harassment, bullying, or threats (overtly or covertly)

5.2. Doxxing or sharing private information of others

5.3. Targeted personal attacks or sustained hostile behaviour

5.4. Hate speech or discrimination based on protected characteristics

5.5. Sexually explicit content

6. Prohibited Technical Misuse

6.1. Hacking, scraping, or bulk-downloading content without written permission

6.2. Spam, fake accounts, bots, or manipulation of votes, rankings, or engagements

6.3. Distributing malware or attempting to disrupt or bypass security measures

6.4. Using the service for any illegal activity

7. Non-Peer-Review Notice

Reineur is not a peer-review platform. Content posted here is not peer-reviewed, verified, or endorsed by Reineur.

Do not present posts as formally validated research, and do not rely on them as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Views expressed by users are their own and do not represent Reineur.

8. Reporting and Enforcement

Report violations by using the in-app report tool, contact us at support@reineur.com. Depending on the severity and history of the violation, we may take the following steps:

8.1. Remove or restrict content

8.2. Issue a warning

8.3. Limit account features

8.4. Suspend or permanently terminate accounts

8.5. Serious or illegal conduct may be reported to the appropriate authorities

9. Appeals

If you believe we made a mistake, contact support@reineur.com within ten (10) days of the action for review

10. Eligibility

The Service is not directed at or intended for persons under eighteen (18) years of age. If we learn we have collected a child's personal data, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email and update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of Reineur after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
